BKM Mutfak Comedy Club is one of Turkey’s hubs for developing comedy, bringing that process close to the audience. It places emerging performers, improv groups and established stand-up comedians on a professional stage, with an orderly viewing experience.
Music & programme
Upbeat pop and funk play as the audience enters. Brand jingles and short stings mark the host’s entrances and transitions. Music stops during comedy sets; there is no separate concert, DJ night or music program. The weekly schedule rotates among +1 Stand Up, Dişil Enerji, open mics, solo shows and productions such as the Improvisational Theatre League with Dilek Çelebi.
Atmosphere
The black-ceilinged room has a wide stage, a prominent BKM Mutfak Comedy Club logo, professional spotlights and tables and chairs angled toward the stage. On recording nights the lights are brighter and camera lanes more apparent. Regular sessions have a dimmer club feel.

Getting to the venue
From Beşiktaş Ferry Terminal, walk behind Sinanpaşa Pasajı and along Hasfırın Caddesi to Kazan Sokak No:3; the walk takes about six minutes. Some addresses list the corner building as Hasfırın Caddesi No:7–12. The Comedy Club sign is at the Kazan Sokak entrance.
