Get to know the venue before you go
Black House Moda is a calm spot under the trees where conversation friendly music and a regulars' feel make for an easy visit. Breakfast, burgers, pizza, beer and original cocktails share the menu. Service can slow at busy times; hot drinks and desserts receive less consistent praise than the main offerings.

Before your visit
For an early breakfast, ask via Instagram or phone whether opening is at 08:00 or 09:00. Despite the large menu, it is fundamentally a Moda cafe bar and pub rather than a live music venue.
GETTING THERE
Getting to the venue
On Ferit Tek Sokak opening onto Moda Caddesi in Caferağa. Walk from central Kadıköy, use the nostalgic tram or local buses. The narrow street makes extra parking time advisable.
