EDITOR'S REVIEW
Blind continues Asmalımescit's live-music history in the same Şehbender Street room with a new generation of concerts. A calendar moving among rock, alternative pop, Balkan music, and electronic nights makes it a Beyoğlu stage without one fixed genre. The close distance between performers and audience creates a powerful shared concert experience.
The stage moves through indie and psychedelic rock, blues, funk, synth-pop, and hip-hop. After concerts, some nights turn to Turkish-pop remixes from the 1980s and 1990s, others to electronic dance music. The venue has an active calendar on nearly every day of the week.
A rectangular standing room has brick and dark walls, a low raised stage, and dense lighting rigs overhead. The front and back of the room are close together; red and blue light transform its old-warehouse feel into a modern concert club.
An intimate live-music and performance club combining culture with dynamic nightlife, giving space to local independent groups and emerging international alternative artists.
Fans of independent rock, alternative music, and new stage projects who prefer watching concerts while standing.
Comfortable T-shirts, jeans, sweatshirts, and sneakers are common. Flexible everyday clothes fit better than formal evening wear.
Blind is appreciated for its small, intimate hall, smoke-free interior, and concert schedule featuring a diverse range of artists. While the lighting and sound systems are generally considered adequate for most events, the proximity to the stage offers the audience a direct, immersive experience. Opinions vary from concert to concert; some performances suffered from muffled sound mixing, and ambient noise from outside drifted in when the entrance door was left open. Serious overcrowding occurred during an electronic music night where admission began long after the announced time. Bar prices are considered high, and security checks have been criticized as lax. Given the limited capacity, it is advisable to check entry times and arrive early.

HIGHLIGHTS
The recognizable former Babylon room, strong acoustics, and consistent stage support for niche alternative music outside the mainstream.
NOTE
Blind occupies the former Babylon Asmalımescit indoor room at Şehbender Sokak No:3. Most events have no fixed seats. For a clear stage view, arrive near the door time on your ticket and travel light rather than bringing a large bag.
