Budha Sahne is regarded as one of Kadife Sokak's longstanding rock venues and a familiar address on Istanbul's alternative scene. Its unpretentious setting offers an intimate experience for people who want to feel the music intensely and sing along with the bands onstage.

NOTE
Before your visit
Ventilation can feel inadequate at packed concerts, making the room hot and stuffy. Conversation is very difficult because of the volume. It is said to be closed on Mondays.
GETTING THERE
Getting to the venue
It is at Kadife Sokak No:14 in Caferağa Mahallesi. From the Kadıköy ferry piers or metro station, walk towards Moda and the former Rexx Cinema, then enter Barlar Sokağı; the journey takes about 10–15 minutes. Public transport and walking are recommended because vehicle access is restricted or inconvenient in the evening.
