At HayalMest in Altıntepe, with a room for about 150 people, a meyhane meal is planned alongside the chosen artist’s concert. Its relatively small scale allows folk songs to be heard at close range.

WHO IT SUITS
It is a good gathering place for those combining folk songs by accomplished performers with meze and rakı. Matinees for groups of women, bachelor and bachelorette gatherings, and private events can also be arranged; nonalcoholic cocktails are available too.
HIGHLIGHTS
Hearing well-known folk singers from the dinner table without needing a large concert hall is HayalMest’s main feature. Personal hospitality further shortens the distance between stage and table.
NOTE
The start times for dinner and performance should be checked separately. Since rakı prices may differ between daytime service and performance days, menu and drink costs should be worked out for the chosen program; operating days should also be confirmed when reserving.
GETTING THERE
It is at Bağdat Caddesi No: 4, around Altıntepe Kasaplar Çarşısı. The walk from Marmaray Bostancı station is about 100 meters. The Turgut Özal Bulvarı–Bostancı bus stop is also nearby; drivers can use surrounding parking and valet options.
