WHO IT SUITS
Is this venue right for you?
For people wanting to talk with friends amid historic Kadıköy, and couples seeking a romantic winter evening by the fireplace. It also appeals to young and middle-aged adults who want a more personal, warm corner near the energy of Barlar Sokağı.
HIGHLIGHTS
Highlights
The 19th-century Greek house, wooden interior and fireplace, and well-liked fruit and spice wines are its main strengths. The room layout feels intimate, while its corner position allows guests to enjoy street energy or spend comparatively undisturbed time together.
NOTE
Before your visit
Corner tables at street level can receive more vehicle and street noise at night. The historic building's narrow stairs may be tiring for some guests. As the DJ and volume rise at weekends, the weekday calm may not be maintained to the same degree.
GETTING THERE
Getting to the venue
It is on the starting corner of Kadife Sokak in Caferağa Mahallesi. From the ferry piers, metro or buses, walk about 10–15 minutes towards the former Rexx, also referred to in the response as Kadıköy Cinema. Because of evening traffic restrictions and difficult parking, public transport or parking at a central Kadıköy İSPARK and walking is recommended.
