Hop Sahne is an alternative, enjoyable entertainment venue in Bakırköy that keeps comedy culture alive and hosts both emerging talent and familiar names. For those who would rather laugh in an intimate space where performer and audience interact than sit in a huge, impersonal hall, it is one of the European side's most satisfying comedy clubs.
WHO IT SUITS
A good option for anyone who enjoys discovering new comedians, is interested in open-mic events and wants a laughter-filled, low-stress evening. It directly appeals to groups tired of conventional nightlife and seeking more thoughtful, fun and artistic socialising. Children's plays and circus shows also offer choices for families with children; assess the age suitability and show times of children's events separately from the adult stand-up programme.

Its main assets are a central location close to Bakırköy Square and public transport, and the ability to offer comedy-club culture at an intimate distance from the audience. GETTING THERE
The venue is at Türkçü Sokak (No:6), Zeytinlik Mahallesi, on streets just behind the Carousel and Capacity shopping centres in one of Bakırköy's busiest areas. From Bakırköy Marmaray station, it is a short 5–10-minute walk, avoiding Istanbul traffic.
