Jash Saloon creates a warm, salon-style evening hosted by Ms. Eva, accompanied by Mr. Niko’s renditions of old Istanbul, Greek, and Italian melodies. The live music and mezes (appetizers) based on centuries-old recipes are generally highly acclaimed; the atmosphere feels as much like a family gathering as a restaurant meal. However, there are criticisms regarding missing items in the set menu, fish being served in insufficient quantities for the table rather than individual portions, and a lack of options for non-fish eaters. The absence of tea (despite coffee being available) and the inclusion of items like tulumba dessert felt out of sync with the concept. The entertainment is excellent, but it is advisable to inquire about menu details thoroughly when making a reservation.
