EDITOR'S REVIEW
Life Station is a modern café-bar restaurant built around a real central fireplace as a place for food and conversation. Its wide menu, cocktails and seating across three floors work for both daytime meetings and long dinners.
Soft pop, lounge and acoustic tracks create a calm daytime background, with a more rhythmic selection in the evening. During sports events, broadcast sound may take priority. Daily playlists favour lounge and pop; major matches appear on screens.
A large wood-burning fireplace rises through the centre of a three-storey interior, surrounded by dark wood, stone textures and warm amber light. Seats near the fire feel more dramatic and warm; upper-floor tables are somewhat apart from the crowd.
The idea of gathering by the fire comes with breakfast, burgers, red meat, desserts and cocktails. Sports broadcasts and tables on different floors allow different kinds of visit.
Central Avcılar residents, couples, groups celebrating over dinner, business-meeting guests, families, cocktail drinkers and friends meeting for a match.
Casual and smart casual suit the modern café-restaurant. Relaxed clothes work by day; a shirt, polished top or simple dress suits an evening celebration.
Life Station Cafe is generally well-liked for its extensive menu, warm atmosphere, and offerings that span from breakfast to evening drinks. The spread-style breakfast, menemen, pizza, burgers, pasta, and snacks are considered delicious and filling; the garden and fireside seating areas are also delightful. Although the staff is usually polite and efficient, several reviews mention long waits for taking orders and receiving water or service items. Some visitors found the alcohol balance and preparation of the cocktails to be lacking. There was also criticism regarding an unannounced per-person service fee for birthday cakes. The food and beer experience appears more consistent than the cocktail experience.

HIGHLIGHTS
Large central fireplace, varied seating across three floors, extensive kitchen menu, signature cocktails, sports screens and a very short walk from the Metrobus.
NOTE
The tables closest to the fireplace have the strongest view but become noticeably warmer when the fire is lit. Ask for an upper-floor table if you are sensitive to heat. Use the Avcılar address to avoid confusing it with a coffee brand of the same name in Pendik.
GETTING THERE
From the Avcılar Metrobus exit, turn onto Merkez Cami Street; the door at No. 1 is about 55 metres ahead. It is a short walk towards the market. Street parking in the centre is limited.
