EDITOR'S REVIEW
Get to know the venue before you go
Liman Restaurant Büyükada is a long-established, well-loved business near the island's ferry pier, maintaining the classic island meyhane tradition right beside the sea. For those who want to escape the city's stress and commotion and relax over fresh meze to the sound of the waves, it is one of Büyükada's most nostalgic, tasty and enjoyable stops.

WHO IT SUITS
Is this venue right for you?
Ideal for anyone who wants a long fish dinner and deep conversation with loved ones to the sound of the waves, without loud music. It particularly suits couples planning a romantic dinner away from the city for a while and families seeking calm.
HIGHLIGHTS
Highlights
Its outstanding seafront position at Liman Çıkmazı and Büyükada's distinctive historic view are its biggest assets. The freshness and variety of its meze and fish, and the ability to walk there from the ferry pier in minutes, strengthen its position among island restaurants.
NOTE
Before your visit
If you are not staying on the island, take care not to miss the return ferry or passenger-boat service while absorbed in dinner and conversation; options for reaching the mainland end after a certain hour at night. As at many tourist-oriented island restaurants, confirm prices of fish not listed on the menu before ordering so you can plan your budget.
GETTING THERE
Getting to the venue
It is at Liman Çıkmazı (No:7) off Gülistan Caddesi, very near the ferry pier within Büyükada's Nizam Mahallesi. Take a Şehir Hatları ferry or private passenger boat from Eminönü, Kabataş, Beşiktaş, Kadıköy or Bostancı to Büyükada, then turn right from the pier toward Nizam and walk along the shore for an enjoyable 2–3 minutes.
