EDITOR'S REVIEW

Get to know the venue before you go

Limoncello is a boutique Akaretler nightspot whose lemon trees, colorful furniture and partly open garden feel different from an enclosed club. Turkish pop, cocktails and dancing share a compact space. On summer nights the garden comes to the fore; closer to midnight, conversation at the tables gives way to a more active club atmosphere.

Music & programme

Every night features energetic, easy-to-sing-along DJ sets of Turkish pop and upbeat dance tracks. Special series or private events may change the theme, music selection or guest performances; check announcements for the night's format.

Atmosphere

Colorful, social and flirtatious. Early on it has the ease of a garden bar; later it grows louder and more dance-focused.

Concept

A partly open boutique club bringing together a lemon-themed garden, cocktail bar and dance nights centered on Turkish pop.

Guest profile

Young adults going out around Akaretler, friends who like dancing to Turkish pop, birthday groups and couples who prefer a boutique club.

Dress code

Smart casual evening clothes suit the boutique Akaretler setting. Choose a polished but comfortable outfit over gym wear.

Inside the Venue

Once you pass Limoncello's illuminated entrance, colourful sculptures greet you. The interior is compact, and the bar is surrounded by people chatting. Changing colours spread among guests standing near the DJ booth. The playful decor and the closeness of the people lend the evening an intimate liveliness.

Customer Review Summary

Most reviews for Limoncello highlight successful cocktails, friendly service, a welcoming atmosphere, and a sense of safety for groups of women. Regular patrons also appreciate the music and DJ performances, as well as the value for money. Negative experiences tend to center on entry policies: criticisms include customers being turned away due to a lack of space despite having no prior reservation, and men being denied entry if not accompanied by women. One group of women noted that the staff-to-customer ratio felt too high, hindering their ability to dance freely, and felt the cocktails lacked sufficient alcohol content. It may be useful to inquire about entry requirements in advance.
