EDITOR'S REVIEW
Get to know the venue before you go
Limonlu Bahçe's large green garden, reached by a long passage from a narrow, unassuming entrance, offers a hidden place to rest in busy central Taksim. Its longstanding identity, lemonade and quiet dining environment make it a distinctive choice for escaping city noise.

WHO IT SUITS
Is this venue right for you?
For couples wanting a calm date among greenery away from İstiklal's bustle and groups of friends lingering over Sunday breakfast. Solo visitors taking a coffee or lemonade break with a book, and nature lovers wanting to spend time with cats, may also choose it.
HIGHLIGHTS
Highlights
Offering a green garden in central Beyoğlu far larger than one would guess from outside is its main strength. Quiet beneath lemon trees and climbing plants, longstanding homemade lemonade and a timeless natural setting have built a loyal following among tourists and Istanbul residents.
NOTE
Before your visit
There can be mosquitoes and small insects in the tree-lined, earthy garden in summer. Although repellent spray is offered at tables, sensitive guests should come prepared. The narrow door and stepped passage can make access difficult for wheelchair users or people with mobility problems. Prices are above those of an average café.
GETTING THERE
Getting to the venue
It is at Yeni Çarşı Caddesi No:74 in Tomtom Mahallesi. From M2 Taksim or Şişhane, walk to Galatasaray Square, then go about 100–150 metres down Yeni Çarşı beside the high school to reach a small entrance on the right marked by a lemon-slice emblem. Public transport and walking are recommended because of traffic and difficult parking.
