EDITOR'S REVIEW
Above Laleli’s busy streets, Lotiz Lounge opens a broad view toward the Marmara Sea and Historic Peninsula. Sushi, steak, kebabs and hookah suit groups with different tastes, while a DJ every night makes it livelier than a conventional view restaurant.
A DJ is scheduled nightly, mixing melodic house, current pop remixes and flowing lounge tracks to keep dinner lively without the intensity of a dance club. Start times and set energy follow that day’s service. There is no separate regular live-band schedule.
The official gallery shows an open terrace with glass railings, tables facing the Marmara and white tablecloths, with warm amber light indoors. The skyline over the rooftops is bright by day and more colorful at night.
A panoramic seventh-floor rooftop restaurant combining Turkish and international food, sushi bar, cocktails, hookah and an evening DJ. The visit can run from a sunset meal to late conversation.
Visitors staying in Historic Peninsula hotels, couples seeking dinner with a view, groups with different food preferences and celebration tables. Evenings have a more social crowd than daytime.
Relaxed but polished clothes fit a rooftop evening: shirt, dress, dark jeans or clean sneakers. Simpler casual clothes work for daytime meals.
Lotiz Lounge receives glowing reviews for its sunset and nighttime city views, impressive rooftop décor, and attentive service. Highlights include the medium-cooked steak, shrimp and mushrooms served in a hot skillet, cocktails, künefe, and vegan options; many patrons also appreciate the balanced, long-lasting hookah. Some visitors note that staff can be overly insistent regarding orders and that prices are high relative to portion sizes. There are a few complaints regarding being seated too close to other tables, hookah coals burning out too quickly, lackluster salads, and ribeye steaks that fell short of expectations. Overall, the view and dining experience are highly reliable.
