EDITOR'S REVIEW
Oligark is a Kuruçeşme complex spread between a grove and the Bosphorus, with distinct spaces for dining, lounging and clubbing. Its extensive outdoor grounds and waterfront seating allow different moods even during large events, making it easy to move from dinner to nightlife at one address.
Jazz, lounge and world music accompany dinner; later DJs bring electronic dance music, mainstream pop and R&B. Club nights with live DJs run throughout the week. In summer, large parties feature international electronic artists and established club event series.
Greenery on the grove side leads to spacious Bosphorus-side seating, white-clothed tables, a long lounge bar and a large dance section. At dusk the lit façade and trees frame the water; inside the club, screens and moving lights take over.
A large dining and entertainment complex on the Kuruçeşme shore bringing together a restaurant, lounge bar, event area and nightclub. Dinner gives way to DJs and dancing as the night progresses.
Couples and friends who want dinner on the Bosphorus followed by DJ music and dancing.
Dress in elegant casual clothes that are polished and appropriate for an evening out.
Purple and yellow tones blend into the night in Oligark's spacious outdoor area. Among illuminated walkways, the crowd gathers towards the DJ booth. When fireworks rise, eyes turn skyward. The open sky above the party gives this place a sense of space quite different from an enclosed room.
Oligark receives many positive reviews for its Bosphorus view, stylish décor, spacious open-air area, distinct dining sections, cuisine, and attentive service. Regular patrons find the venue clean, comfortable, and suitable for special events. Conversely, there have been criticisms regarding inadequate VIP booth service, the DJ performance, and issues with reservation checks late at night. Some customers report being charged more than the agreed-upon price for bottles or tables, the late disclosure of additional fees, and concerns regarding the quality of the drinks. It appears particularly important to obtain written confirmation of package details, seating arrangements, service charges, and the total cost, especially for the nightclub section.
