EDITOR'S REVIEW
Rüya Gemisi Boğaz is a floating entertainment venue departing from the Bebek waterfront, combining meyhane meze and shows on a four-hour Bosphorus cruise.
Fasıl, Turkish classical music and familiar Turkish songs accompany dinner. Once the boat departs, Romani dance tunes, 1990s–2000s pop and DJ remixes raise the pace. Operating every Saturday, it features resident DJs, interactive Romani and oriental dance, percussion and live music.
A carefully fitted three-deck boat with a fully enclosed upper area and substantial heating. Dim red and purple neon, disco balls and tightly packed but enthusiastic tables contrast with Bosphorus Bridge views passing outside.
A floating meyhane that combines a set-menu dinner with dance shows, cabaret and a Bosphorus cruise.
Friend groups celebrating, women going out together and tourists who want to experience İstanbul on a music-filled Bosphorus cruise.
Choose neat clothes that suit both dinner and dancing; sports shorts, flip-flops and careless outfits are discouraged.
Rüya Gemisi makes a strong first impression with its Bosphorus location and impressive views. Guests often praise the attentive staff, specially crafted cocktails, and entertaining nights. However, experiences regarding food, service, and the bill vary significantly. Recurring issues include dry meatballs and meat, missing appetizers, incorrect orders (such as receiving a different dish instead of fish), delayed drink service, and harsh staff interactions. Some reviews also report bills exceeding the ordered amount and pressure to leave tips. While the venue is worth visiting for the view, it is important to carefully check the menu details and the final bill.
