EDITOR'S REVIEW
Teras Emirgan is a tucked-away restaurant and bar on the floor above La Boom, with a small tree-lined terrace, Bosphorus views, cocktails and sharing plates. Its garden-like scale feels relaxed at brunch and becomes more social during selected DJ sets.
Background selections accompany evening service. Guest DJs play on certain Sundays and special nights; daytime weekends focus on brunch.
Colorful furniture, a swing and loungers give it a summer feel. Limited capacity keeps it intimate, romantic at sunset and lively on DJ nights.
A boutique meeting place bringing together a garden-like open terrace, Bosphorus views, sharing plates, cocktails and selected DJ performances.
Couples seeking dinner with Bosphorus views, small groups celebrating and city visitors who want cocktails and DJ sets on a calm terrace.
Elegant smart casual suits the Bosphorus terrace. Brunch calls for a more relaxed outfit, while dinner and DJ evenings favor polished city wear.
Patterned plates and colourful salads stand out on Teras Emirgan's tables facing the water. Potted plants and small flower arrangements sit between pale chairs. You look towards the shore past purple flowers. Getting absorbed in food and conversation, then turning back to the water, is a pleasant part of the time spent at these tables.
Teras Emirgan is appreciated for its Bosphorus view, lighting, DJ performances, and cocktails. While visitors generally view the staff's attentiveness positively, feedback regarding the food and organization is less favorable. Common complaints include small portions, high prices, mediocre food, and slow service. Loud music in the restaurant area can make conversation difficult. There have been reports of guests with terrace reservations being redirected to a different area because the section was closed, and one group being turned away because their reservation could not be found; the presence of headscarf-wearing guests in that group raised suspicions of discrimination. It is advisable to obtain written confirmation regarding the terrace's availability and your table booking before visiting.
