WHO IT SUITS
Guinness enthusiasts, people watching matches with friends and those wanting a wooden pub after work can spend time here. Darts and foosball give groups another activity; falafel bowls and salad are meatless, while fruit cocktails, coffee and tea are nonalcoholic options.
HIGHLIGHTS
Freshly served draft beers, attentive staff and detailed Irish-pub decor are appreciated together. Daily opening from 11.00–02.00 and proximity to the pier and Galataport make gathering at different times easier.
NOTE
The kitchen does more than snacks: breakfast, pasta, pizza, fish and chips, steak with beğendi puree and rib-eye with mushroom sauce are also available. Current live-music times should be checked. Pulling up to the door and finding parking by car on the narrow historic street are difficult.
GETTING THERE
It is at Galata Şarap İskelesi Sokak number 6 in Vakıf Han. From Karaköy ferry pier, the T1 stop and Tünel exit, the walk toward Kemankeş and onto the street takes approximately 3–5 minutes.
