Trip v2.0's story reaches back to the bar Kaan Çaydamlı and Mete Avunduk opened in this building on November 9, 2001. The connection to Altı Kırkbeş and Kaybedenler Kulübü belongs more to the history than the decor of this wooden pub on Kadife Sokak; conversations around the fireplace continue that old bar tradition.

WHO IT SUITS
Suitable for people wanting beer by the fireplace, conversation with rock recordings or a view of Kadife from a street-side table. There is also room to open a laptop and work over daytime coffee; the same calm does not continue once the DJ program starts.
HIGHLIGHTS
The fireplace, the feel of an old wooden building and a rock-and-alternative music culture distinguish Trip. Staff's attentive but unobtrusive manner lets long conversations at the table unfold comfortably.
NOTE
The current 6:45 Trip listing gives Sunday–Thursday 12.00–02.00 and Friday and Saturday 12.00–03.00; since these can be confused with old Trip v2.0 hours, early or late visits should be checked. The entrance and parking area are not wheelchair accessible. Space capacity may be limited during crowded events.
GETTING THERE
Kadife Sokak No:10 is approximately a 4–5-minute walk from Boğa Heykeli and Bahariye. The walk from the Kadıköy ferry piers and metro is 8–10 minutes. From Marmaray, guests can transfer to Kadıköy connections.
